David Sumantry started his MA in Psychological Science in Fall 2016 in the SPP lab. He graduated in Fall 2018 and subsequently began his PhD. His Master’s thesis involved examining predictors of accent-based prejudice, and some themes of his other work are political communication, ideology, morality, and prejudice. Before he came to Ryerson, he completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics and his B.A. Hon. In Psychology at MacEwan University in Edmonton. Through the PhD process, he is hoping to hone his skills in quantitative methods and the analysis of big data.
